DESIGN, INSTALLATION, AND MAINTENANCE

From the initial design to 24/7 service callouts, you can trust Residential Fire Protection Ltd.

A COMPLETE FIRE SAFETY SOLUTION

Based in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, Residential Fire Protection is here to make your life easier. We provide a complete fire safety solution for landlords and homeowners, creating fire protection designs in accordance with BS9251:2021. These include any guidance notes or technical bulletins that are issued by the relevant bodies.

Ideally, we work from DWG format plans of your property when designing your fires safety system. However, if you are unable to provide plans in this format, we will provide a full survey and design package to overcome the issue. Our design team will use these drawings to map out the location of all sprinkler heads, pipework, and other system components.

Once the design is complete, we’ll seek your approval to proceed with the installation, arranging a start date that is convenient for you. Our engineers will work from the designs, but should any changes be required when on-site, this will be discussed with the design team to ensure full compliance. Any such changes will be recorded on completion in an “as fitted” plan. Any deviations are calculated and checked prior to approval to ensure that the changes have no impact on the system demands.

HOW YOUR SPRINKLER SYSTEM WORKS

The sprinkler system can be supplied from several different sources:

  • Town main

  • Boosted cold water systems

  • Independent pump and tank in accordance with BS9251:2021.

All our systems are fully hydraulically calculated (FHC) using Canute software along with the detailed designs, allowing us to determine the water flow and pressures required. A pressure and flow test can be carried out to determine if a town main could achieve the pressure and flow required. If not, alternatives such as a pump and tank system will be discussed with you, and our team will make sure you are completely happy with the chosen solution.
